» Origin History:
Originally created in late 1998, the ancestor series to Beastmaster Legends was called Power Rangers Take To The Skies. With costumes based off of the Super Sentai team Kakurangers (the Alien Rangers), the seven SkyRangers fought an alternate-dimension version of Astronema named "Andromeda." The two teams battled it out for forty-two installments of the series, leading up to a finale in which both good and evil were sent to an unknown destination. (I did discover the conclusion, but it was written before the television debut of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, and it takes a different look at Scorpius and the Terra Venture space colony. Of note are the Green Senturion police force, and a version of Scorpius that resembles Scorpix from BeetleBorgs Metallix.)
What Beastmaster Legends entails is the resulting journey of Andromeda's twin sister, Cassiopeia, including her discovery of a recently recolonized Mirinoi! Will the new team of Power Rangers be up to the task of defeating this threat from the past?
If you think you remember Beastmaster Legends from when it was last uploaded in 2004, you're in for a little surprise. The universe of Beastmaster Legends has been expanded with all-new, never-before-seen adventures! Think of it as a 'Reversioning,' but without the comic effects!
